چکیده

ABSTRACT The heat-shock response is critical for the survival of all organisms. Metastasis-associated long adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) a noncoding RNA localized in nuclear speckles, but its physiological role remains elusive. Here, we show that heat shock induces translocation MALAT1 to distinct body named shock-inducible RNA-containing (HiNoCo) mammalian cells. MALAT1-knockout A549 cells showed reduced proliferation after shock. HiNoCo body, which formed adjacent from any other known bodies, including stress Cajal germs, paraspeckles, nucleoli and promyelocytic leukemia body. formation reversible independent factor 1, master transcription regulator response. Our results suggest participates 1-independent responses

Identification and Characterization of Novel Genotoxic Stress-Inducible Nuclear Long Noncoding RNAs in Mammalian Cells

Whole transcriptome analyses have revealed a large number of novel transcripts including long and short noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs). Currently, there is great interest in characterizing the functions of the different classes of ncRNAs and their relevance to cellular processes. In particular, nuclear long ncRNAs may be involved in controlling various aspects of biological regulation, such as stress ...

Identification and punctate nuclear localization of a novel noncoding RNA, Ks-1, from the honeybee brain.

We identified a novel gene, Ks-1, which is expressed preferentially in the small-type Kenyon cells of the honeybee brain. This gene is also expressed in some of the large soma neurons in the brain and in the suboesophageal ganglion. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction experiments indicated that Ks-1 transcripts are enriched in the honeybee brain. cDNA cloning revealed that the conse...

wuthering heights and the concept of marality/a sociological study of the novel

to discuss my point, i have collected quite a number of articles, anthologies, and books about "wuthering heights" applying various ideas and theories to this fantastic story. hence, i have come to believe that gadamer and jauss are rightful when they claim that "the individaul human mind is the center and origin of all meaning," 3 that reading literature is a reader-oriented activity, that it ...

Paraspeckles: nuclear bodies built on long noncoding RNA

Paraspeckles are ribonucleoprotein bodies found in the interchromatin space of mammalian cell nuclei. These structures play a role in regulating the expression of certain genes in differentiated cells by nuclear retention of RNA. The core paraspeckle proteins (PSF/SFPQ, P54NRB/NONO, and PSPC1 [paraspeckle protein 1]) are members of the DBHS (Drosophila melanogaster behavior, human splicing) fam...
